Privacy policy

The short version

We collect only what you type into our forms, we use it only to answer you and fulfill your order, we never sell it, and you can ask us to show you or delete it at any time by emailing sommersnightpottery@gmail.com.

What we collect, and why

When you send an order request or a message through this site, we receive the information you enter: your name, email address, shipping country, and whatever you write in the message or notes field. We use it to reply to you, quote shipping, invoice you, and ship your order. If you tick the mailing list box, we also use your email to send occasional updates about new pieces and market dates.

That is the whole list. This site has no user accounts, no analytics trackers, and no advertising cookies. We do not buy, sell, or trade personal information.

Who processes it

Form submissions are delivered by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) to our email inbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail). The website itself is hosted by Vercel. Each of these providers processes data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. When you pay an invoice, the payment happens through the payment provider named on the invoice, and your payment details never touch this website.

How long we keep it

Order correspondence is kept as long as we need it for bookkeeping and warranty questions, then deleted. Mailing list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email we send or by writing to us.

Your rights

Wherever you live, we extend the same courtesy: email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, this is your legal right under the GDPR, along with the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have similar rights under the CCPA. We honor all of these requests within 30 days, usually much faster.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
